Morning all, I for one am happy to see the end of this week. I didn't manage to write a mid-week blog on Wednesday. This was due to having the busiest clinic I've had to date - which has all gone really well despite balancing my ongoing French classes and working in this seemingly never-ending heat.
Something that also made a difference to how I've approached this week was losing an old friend to cancer. And while it was something that we knew was coming, it has still been incredibly sad. I use my clinical supervision to delineate between my personal life and my professional life - so I've been fortunate that this hasn't affected my availability and that I've been able to process this loss with my partner and friends. I'll no doubt continue this at the weekend as I head off to a wedding, where we will raise a glass to our absent friend.
